The Lexus RC 300h is a luxury sportscar with a hybrid drivetrain. It's more focused on comfort than on sportiness, so it is a perfect "Grand Tourer".

The car got a 2.5 liter 4-cilinder petrol engine combined with an electric motor. The petrol engine delivers 181 hp and 221 Nm of torque. The electric motor got 143 hp. Together the two motors have a system output of 223 hp.

The car got a e-CVT gearbox which gives the car a "Prius-like" gearing experience. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration takes 8,6 seconds and top speed is limited at 190 km/h.

The official consumption (NEDC) is rated at 4,9 liters per 100 km. In reality it is closer to 6 to 8 liters. The official CO2-emissions (NEDC) are 108 g/km.

It's possible to drive the Lexus RC 300h !
purely electric in "EV-mode". It only works for speeds up to 4!
9 km/h and because of its small battery (about 1 kWh) it only lasts a few kilometers (+- 5 km).

The Lexus RC 300h was introduced in Europe in the beginning of 2016. The car is also available as the "RC F" with a V8 5-liter petrol engine.
